The Ellington opens late summer in Leeds
The Ellington is a new build luxury boutique-style hotel opening late summer 2008 in Leeds. The hotel features 35 air conditioned rooms and suites furnished with the latest technology including their own entertainment centre with a plasma screen television, Xbox 360 and iPod docking station. Albert Roux will create the hotels menus. Silvano Giraldin, Maitre d’ at Le Gavroche for over thirty years, will be training the restaurant and private dining team.
The Ellington has two ground floor meeting rooms. The Boardroom will accommodate up to 12 people. The York Room will seat 40 people theatre style or 20 cabaret style. Both rooms have natural daylight, state of the art AV, WiFi and broadband connections.
The Ellington is located on York Place in the centre of Leeds, a five minute walk from Leeds Central Station.
The Ellington is being developed by Pantin Hotels who are planning a second Leeds hotel to open in 2009. The Crispin will be housed in a converted Grade II listed building at the apex of New York Road and Trafalgar Street in Leeds. It will feature 84 luxury bedrooms and suites and two restaurants
