Moran Hotels takeover Bewleys Hotels
Moran Hotels have purchased Bewleys Hotels Group with effect from 7th March 2008.

Both groups are a similar size and both are Irish-based. Bewleys Hotels consisted of six properties: two in the UK – in central Leeds and at Manchester Airport - plus four in and around Dublin. Moran Hotels currently comprises of two four-star hotels in London, the Crown Moran in Cricklewood and the Chiswick Moran Hotel (pictured), plus two hotels in Ireland including the renowned Red Cow Inn; Dublin’s landmark pub and hotel.

It is Moran’s intention to maintain the Bewleys brand for the time being, operating the hotels as a going concern alongside Moran Hotels. An immediate refurbishment schedule is planned for the Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin. Developments for the UK will be published shortly.
