Q Hotels refurbishing Telford Golf and Spa Hotel
Q Hotels are half way through their £7million refurbishment of Telford Golf and Spa Hotel. The first phase has included 50 new-look bedrooms plus a refurbished and newly named 'Restaurant 1779' - 1779 was the year Abraham Darby's world renowned Iron Bridge was completed and the hotel is within the boundaries of this World Heritage Site. The remainder of bedrooms should be completed in early October.
The golf course is unaffected by the refurbishment and has remained open throughout, although the internal leisure facilities are currently being refurbished and should reopen during November, together with a new spa facility and six new treatment rooms. The hotel has seven conference and meeting rooms with a maximum capacity of up to 300 delegates. These will be fully refurbished by December.
Telford Golf and Spa Hotel is close to the M54 motorway at junction 4 in Shropshire, 5 miles from Telford station and 44 miles from Birmingham International Airport.
