Crowne Plaza Gatwick-Crawley opens in October
The Crowne Plaza Gatwick-Crawley opens in October 2007. The hotel, currently branded as a Clarion, is undergoing a further multi-million pound refurbishment, in addition to the £8 million refurbishment completed in 2005.

Individual bedrooms are being enlarged and redesigned by converting three previous rooms into two new ones. In-room facilities will also be upgraded to include flat screen LCD televisions, new bathrooms with power showers, added room security systems and WiFi access. A dedicated Club Lounge is being added along with eight new guest rooms, bringing the total room count to 236. A further block of 50 Club rooms will be added within the next 12 months. Three new meeting rooms will increase maximum capacity to 400 delegates for a conference.

The hotel also features the Cube Restaurant and Lounge plus the Health Club with a swimming pool, a spa pool, a fully equipped gym, sauna and steam room and two beauty therapy rooms.

The Crowne Plaza Gatwick-Crawley is within walking distance of Crawley town centre and 3.5 miles from the Gatwick Airport terminals.
