Savoy to Close for a Total Refurbishment
The Savoy Hotel in London is to close this December for 16 months to undergo a £100million plus refurbishment. Savoy owners, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, plan to upgrade all 263 guest rooms and suites, corridors, public areas and meeting rooms. The River Restaurant will also be reopening. Overlooking the Thames, The Savoy is located on The Strand at the heart of London’s theatreland.
