Hotel Bannatyne - Durham
Hotel Bannatyne Durham is a new 50 twin-bedroom hotel which opened on 14 February. The hotel shares the same building as Bannatyne's Health
Club Durham to which guests get complimentary admission. Bedrooms are en-suite and equipped with free wi-fi broadband access and a wall mounted LCD television. There is no dinner restaurant at the hotel although snacks are available throughout the day. The hotel is to follow the pricing policy popularised by the low-cost airlines but which runs counter to the hotel industry norm - with rooms priced from £20 and rising the closer the booking is made to the arrival date.
