Blossoms Hotel Chester to close for refurbishment
The Blossoms Hotel in Chester will close from next week for four months whilst it undergoes a major refurbishment. The 64 bedroom Macdonald Hotel, located in the heart of Chester, is set for a total change of image.

Staying in the north west, the Wrightington Hotel Standish has just closed its original 23
bedroom block. It will be demolished and a new bedroom wing built in its place with 23 executive rooms plus an 80 theatre style, fully equipped and dedicated conference room with floor to ceiling windows. Work is due for completion by April 2007.
