QHotels add the Telford Golf and Country Club to its portfolio
QHotels have purchased Telford Golf and Country Club Hotel in Shropshire, just seven days after it announced the £180 million acquisition of Marston Hotels. The addition of Telford Golf & Country Club Hotel sees the hotel chain rise to 22 properties – a growth rate of 140% in less than a week.

The latest acquisition, overlooking the Ironbridge Gorge, currently has 96 bedrooms, an 18-hole golf course, conference facilities for up to 200 delegates plus a gym and pool amenities. A full audit will now follow before refurbishment plans are published.
Telford Golf & Country Club Hotel is an ex-Swallow Hotel.
