New stadium and hotel planned for Manchester
Salford City Reds rugby league team have been granted planning permission to build a new stadium. The £130million project will include a 20,000 seater stadium plus a new 208 bedroom 4 star hotel with conference and exhibition space integrated into the stadium structure.
The stadium will be in located in Barton, north Manchester, close to the A57 Liverpool Road and minutes from the M60 motorway. Details of the hotel operator and opening dates await publication.
