Aston Hotels to open on Sheffield Business Park
Aston Hotels will open their third hotel on the Sheffield Business Park in October 2007. A ‘new-build’, the Aston Hotel Sheffield will have 63 deluxe rooms, 12 executive rooms and three with disabled access. The hotel will be tailored to meet business travellers’ needs with free high speed wi-fi internet access in all public areas and bedrooms, king-size beds, power showers, working desks in every bedroom, multi-channel satellite television and an individually controlled comfort cooling and heating system. There will also be the hotel’s brasserie and bar 59. Meeting facilities will include a boardroom for 20 and six individual meeting rooms, accommodating two to 100 – all equipped with the latest av equipment.

Aston Hotel Sheffield is located on 1.3 acre site near the M1 at junction 33 and just off the Sheffield Parkway – the main approach road into the city.

Aston Hotels aim to bridge the gap in the market between top-end hotels and basic budget alternatives – offering business travellers premium accommodation at an affordable price. The group comprises the Aston Hotel Darlington and the Aston Hotel Dumfries which opened last month. Sheffield will be complete by October 2007 to be followed by Neath/Port Talbot which is scheduled to open in spring 2008.
