Chester Grosvenor announce refurbishment plans
The Chester Grosvenor has just unveiled a £3.5million refurbishment programme of its conference facilities. The work will take place between June and August 2007 and will include the ‘reformatting’ of their existing conference space to provide an additional syndicate room, the installation of 100% soundproof partitioning and the very latest AV and meeting technology.
The Chester Grosvenor is a five star, 3 AA rosette hotel complete with a Michelin-starred restaurant and a reputation for top-notch service. With its new conference suite the hotel is aiming to attract more mid-week business, both day meetings, but particularly the attractive medium-sized residential conference market.

It’s all happening in Chester - the Crowne Plaza has recently completed a total overhaul of its city centre hotel; Hilton have announce plans to build a new 150 bedroom 4 star hotel on the city’s Northgate Arena site and Abode Hotel Chester is an 80 bedroom ‘lifestyle’ hotel which opens next summer on the site of the former Cheshire Constabulary headquarters close to the centre of Chester.
